Federey SA is a family company based in the north of Uruguay, in Bella Union and Artigas. By providing material, financial and technical support to local producers, it controls the entire chain, from cultivation to production.

The vetiver plantations stretch between two rivers. Federey SA conducts a reasoned cultivation, without chemical fertilizers. The crops currently cover 20 hectares, for a production of 32 to 45 litres of essential oil per hectare.

This essential oil cultivation and production project initiated by Federey SA is part of a wider development framework, supported and subsidised by the state.
